In yet another CSR initiative, GE employees contributed to present a Dance Super Station (DSS) to the boys at Don Bosco Navajeevan Home in Secunderabad.
As part of a continuing program in which employees of GE, Hyderabad visit the DBNJ on weekends to spend time with the inmates, sharing their skills and knowledge, a DSS was presented to the home on 7th September 2014. It was formally inaugurated by Manger-Training of GE Capital Retail Finance, Mr. Wayne Unger and Quality Specialist Mrs. Neti Lakshmi.
Rev.Fr. Bellamkonda Sudhakar, Director of Don Bosco Navajeevan homes in Twin cities received the DSS, invoking blessings on all children who will be using it.
In the words of the boys through the dance we can develop three things, namely to get relaxed, to have healthy body and to keep fit and to have concentration in studies as we concentrate on the steps displayed on the screen. Once it was inaugurated the boys were eager to get on the DSS to dance and the visitors were pretty happy with it. The programme was concluded with distribution of snacks brought by the donors. At the end Fr .Sudhakar, Director, thanked GE Company for their generosity on behalf of the Management, staff and students of DBNJ homes.
