Bosco Swalambana helped us in starting our own vegetable shop — Rayudu Kumari Ambajipet

14 July 2014

My name is Rayudu Kumari and i am from Ambajipet Mandal. My husband’s name is Simhachalam. I have two sons and they are studying 10th class and 9th class respectively. I heard about the Bosco Swalambana MAC society and formed a  group along with my friends and named it as “Om Sai Manikanta Group”. we joined the society on 4-2-13. It has been 1.5 yrs that we associated with the society.

After saving regularly in the society for 8 months i got the fist loan of Rs.5000/-. I have added my own savings of another Rs.5000/- and with that entire amount i started a vegetable shop. I am getting an income of Rs.200/- everyday. My husband has taken an acre land for lease and doing agriculture in that.

We are now living happily and are clearing the loan along with the interest taken from the society. I thank the BSK and the MAC society for educating us about the micro credit program and helping us in becoming entrepreneurs.
