Journey of Mubeena from a daily labour to a shop owner

16 July 2014

My name is S. Mubeena and I am living in Peddapanjani Mandal, Chittor Dist. Me, my husband, my son and my mother in law we all go to work as a daily labour and earn for the survival of the family.

I am a member in the Bosco Women’s Mac society from the past 3 years. Ten of my friends along with me came forward and formed a group and named it as “Balaji” and started saving in the society.  After saving for six months we got the first loan of Rs. 5000/- and second loan of Rs.10,000 for the lowest rate of interest. I started a small grocery shop from the loan I got from the society.  We started getting some income. After that our family was free from financial crisis and is also able to send our children to school for good education.I also started educating my friends and relatives about the MAC society so that they also can improve their family and living standards.

We thank the BSK organization and the MAC group for helping us in clearing all our problems and in leading a happy life.
