A Brief history:
On 31st January 1989, at the centenary year of Don Bosco, Srimathi Kumadhen Joshi the then Governor of Andhra Pradesh, laid the foundation stone for a high school building. It was completed and inaugurated on 31st January 1992.

It was completed and inaugurated on 31st January 1992 and is running successfully helping the poor and needy in perusing their education. Bosco Institute of Electronics started in the year 1994 with Diploma Courses in Electronics and Telecommunication. In 1995, AMIETE course was started in the same branch, which is equivalent to Bachelor’s Degree in Technology. Since many Companies demanded a University Degree for placements, the Institution was re-christened ‘Don Bosco Degree College and affiliated to Osmania University. Teachers of this institution believe, that learning does not begin and end in the class room. In addition to conventional classroom sessions, a number of innovative methods are applied to bring out the talents of the students. Use of projectors for visual display is common feature in teaching. The academic quality of college life is enhanced by the provision of the best possible infrastructural facilities like spacious classrooms, laboratories, library, reading rooms, conference halls, canteen, and playground.
